We do offer installation services. However, if you have a basic understanding of engines and fuel systems, you will have no problem installing it yourself.
Every kit includes an installation guide with images and instructions.
Most kits can be installed easily and quickly – within a couple of hours; should your kit include a safety solenoid, it will take a little bit longer.
Should the engine stop, the safety solenoid will shut-off the fuel supply, even if the key is on.
This option is mandatory for indoor use or if you want to remotely start an engine (e.g. for a power generator).
It depends upon which fuel is readily available, how portable your equipment is, and whether or not you intend to use the equipment in remote areas.
We can provide kits that use propane, natural gas, or both. In many cases, we also offer a tri-fuel version that allows you to switch among gasoline, propane and natural gas.
For most cases, the answer is yes.
You can do either or both. In some cases, you may need to add a high-pressure regulator and hose assembly in order to hook it up to a portable cylinder. You could disconnect the high-pressure regulator and hose assembly at any time and reconnect it to the fuel lines inside the house. You can also configure your kit to run off a large propane bulk tank.

Before we can provide you with the price of a conversion system, we need to know more about the application and/or engine that you have. One of of the more common kits that we sell is for a Briggs & Stratton 10 HP engine. The price is about $195 for a low-pressure, natural gas or propane kit. A high-pressure propane kit averages about $225 – $250. A tri-fuel kit adds another $25 to the price of a high-pressure kit.
Typically, a safety solenoid will add about $75 to $150 to the price of a conversion kit.
Each kit is built to order; however, because we have a large inventory, we can produce about 2,000 kits at any given time. So, we should be able to ship your kit within a day or two from the time you place your order.
In a timely manner, you should review all documentation and check that your kit is complete. Should any item be missing, please contact us. Prior to installation, you should also check that all of the other preparations for the application are complete (e.g. fuel lines are routed, engine is properly adjusted/tuned, etc). We will need to know about the application (e.g. generator, lawn mower, saw, etc). We’ll also need to know the make, model, rated horsepower, and style of air cleaner of the engine… is it an electric start or is it a recoil start? What type of fuel… natural gas or propane?
Typically, a natural gas line inside the house has 4 ounces of pressure; a propane gas line inside the house has 6 ounces of pressure; a bulk propane tank has 10 pounds of pressure; and a portable propane cylinder ranges from 10 pounds (-20 F) to 225 pounds (120 F) of pressure, dependent upon the external temperature.
